Missing le Tour?

The Tour de France ended on Sunday with Alberto yet again in yellow and a nail-biting sprint finish by Cavendish on the Champs-Elysee. However, for those of us who were glued to Versus each night to watch the race and hear Phil and Paul take us through the play-by-play, constantly checking “letour.fr” for race updates and scouring Velonews for articles, Graham Watson photos and gossip of the day, there seems to be something missing this week.

So if your tour fever is still raging – there IS a cure! Tomorrow, at 7pm at the Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse – Gripped Films is having an encore screening of Chasing Legends.

The film follows Team HTC-Columbia through the 2009 tour, and has received rave reviews from Road Magazine, Velonews and the LA Times.  If you’re not local to Arlington, the film is being shown in theaters around the country (check website for listings) and DVDs are available online as well.

And while the live action of le Tour has wrapped up, you can find the same excitement and incredible images through Chasing Legends. Let le Tour and Chasing Legends inspire you to get out on your bike more, shoot, if you’re going to a show – ride there! Never too soon to start!
